The Hobsonville Point development transformed a former airfield into a successful med-density development of 4,500 housing units catering for 11,000 people. We participated in the writing of the Design Guidelines and testing them with designs for actual sites.  Subsequently, working with Classic Builders, we designed over 100 units, including terraces, three-storey walk-ups, apartments and single-family houses.

Under the Hobsonville Land Corporation regulations the developments have included a prescribed percentage of “Axis” housing, ensuring that many of the designs are affordable to lower and mixed incomes.
